Jewish artists in Krakow: a lecture Dr. Natasza Styrna (in Polish)
At the event Dr. Styrna, a distinguished art historian from Krakow’s Jagiellonian University, will tell the fascinating story of 19th and 20th century Jewish artists in Krakow: painters, graphic artists and sculptors.
Dr. Natasza Styrna is an expert on Jewish art in Krakow and art critique. In her dissertation she presented the history of the interwar Association of Jewish Painters and Sculptors in Krakow (Zrzeszenie Zydowskich Artystow Malarzy i Rzezbiarzy).
Recently Dr. Styrna compiled the catalogue of the exhibit Jewish Artists in Krakow 1873-1939 at the Old Synagogue in Krakow.
