My Former Neighbors in French

French Studies students from Krakow’s Jagiellonian University and Pedagogical University took part in My Former Neighbors workshops at the Auschwitz Jewish Center. Special guest and supporter of the program was Consul General of the Republic of France Mr. Pascal Vagogne.

Students toured exhibits Jews of Oswiecim and Polish Heroes, the Chevra Lomdei Mishnayot synagogue as well as historical sites associated with the history of Oswiecim’s Jewish population. The tours were conducted in French. The second part of the program was Why do we need tolerance? interactive workshop.
