The Claims Conference was created to secure funds for the relief, rehabilitation and resettlement of Jewish survivors of the Holocaust; to rebuild the Jewish communities and institutions devastated by the Third Reich; and to document and commemorate the Holocaust and the Jewish cultural life that was annihilated.

Jacob Hennenberg

Jacob Hennenberg was born in 1924 in the Polish city of Oswiecim (Auschwitz). He spent his childhood in the town and survived the Holocaust in concentration camps around Poland. Now age 75, Jacob is dedicated to remembrance of the Shoah (Holocaust).
